As prescribed under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Section 19, Sub-part 2.101, Women Owned Business (WOB), WBENC certifies that Continental Resources, Inc. is a Women Owned Business. (Certificate number 2005111735).
A “women owned business” as defined in this provision, means a small business concern that meets the following two conditions: At least 51% owned by one or more women, or, in the case of any publicly owned business, at least 51% of the stock of which is owned by one or more women; and Management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more women.
Also, as prescribed in Title 13, Code of Federal Regulations, part 121 (13 CFR part 121) under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Section 48 CFR part 19, Small Business Concern Representations, dated May 2001, Continental Resources, Inc. certifies that it is a small business concern under NAICS code number 423430 for Government Procurement.
A ‘small business concern’ as used in this provision, means a concern, including its affiliates, that is independently owned and operated for profit, based in the United States, not dominant in the field in which it is bidding on Government contracts, and qualified as a small business under the criteria and size standards set forth by the Small Business Administration of fewer than 500 employees.
