WBENC Renews ConRes’ Women Owned Enterprise Certification
Bedford, MA—October 8, 2009—Continental Resources’ Women Owned Enterprise Certification has been renewed by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council for 2010.
As stated by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Section 19, Sub-part 2.101 (Women Owned Small Business), a Women Owned Enterprise must be at least 51% owned by one or more women. As a Women Owned Enterprise and small business, Continental Resources’ status as a Women Owned Enterprise affords the company the opportunity to be a part of the purchasing practices and supplier diversity programs of major corporations throughout the country.
