Rent, Lease or Buy Test Equipment

Financing options from Continental Resources (ConRes) include rental, lease or purchase and your choice of new or refurbished test equipment.

Rent or Rent-to-Own

If you’re working on an R&D project, have an emergency or are simply unsure of the life cycle of the test equipment you require, then the ConRes month-to-month rental program may be right for you. If you think you may buy the unit after renting, a rent-to-own option may be your best choice.

Lease Test Equipment

Multiple financing options and lease providers allow you the flexibility to buy the test equipment you need today.

Buy Test Equipment New

As an authorized distributor for select test equipment vendors, ConRes offers you an extensive inventory of state-of-the-art new test equipment available for purchase.

Buy Refurbished Test Instruments

An inventory of off-rent ‘refurbished’ test and measurement equipment offers you substantial savings over manufacturer’s suggested list prices. Because these products have been maintained under a strict NIST-traceable schedule, you can count on ConRes for reliable, fully tested and calibrated test equipment.

How do I order online?

Each product page has a list of product model(s). Next to each product are the acquisition options available for that product. Your options can be any one or combination of the following: buy now or rent. Simply select the appropriate option. When you select “Buy Now” your item is added to the Shopping Cart. Alternately, you may select the “Get Quote” option which places the product into your Quote Cart. Selecting “rent” also places the product into your Quote Cart.

Once you’ve finished putting items into your shopping and quote carts, simply go to your Cart, submit your requests and process your payment.

Currently only customers in the continental U.S.A. may order online. For orders outside the continental U.S.A., please select “get quote”.

During normal business hours, you’ll receive a response to your quote within 2 hours.

There is no charge for ‘ground shipping’ anywhere within the 48 continental United States when you purchase online. During checkout you may request an alternate method. Any changes to your final price will be quoted to you before the order is fulfilled.

When ordering by credit card, your credit card is only charged after we ship your product. Most in stock, new equipment ships no later than 1 business day from the date your order is taken. You’ll be contacted via email if your order requires more time to fulfill. If you require faster delivery please contact one of our Account Executives at 800-937-4688 to assist you. Or, you can specify faster delivery using your FedEx or UPS account number.

Continental Resources also accepts PayPal for your convenience.

Currently our online ordering system accepts orders from customers in and shipping to the continental United States. For sales or shipments outside the United States, please select “Get Quote” or contact one of our Account Executives at 800-937-4688.

NOTE: Not all products are available for online purchase and the online purchase terms described above do not apply to these items. Items without a Buy Now button can only be purchased, rented or leased by contacting one of our Account Executives.

May I use a Purchase Order online?

Continental Resources is happy to accept your corporate purchase orders. To use a purchase order, simply upload your purchase order by selecting the appropriate option from the CheckOut screen.

How do I order on open account?

Continental Resources is happy to accept your corporate purchase orders. To use a purchase order, simply upload your purchase order by selecting the appropriate option from the CheckOut screen. Orders submitted using a purchase order require an extra processing step from ConRes and may delay processing by 12-24 hours.

How do I open an account?

If you're a new customer, call our office at 800-937-4688 and speak with any of our sales reps. Our credit department can usually process your request for an open account within one standard business day if you're located in the US or Canada.

What credit cards are accepted?

Individuals or companies may pay with Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Purchase cards are welcome. Continental Resources also accepts PayPal for your convenience. 

What countries do you ship to?

Online orders are accepted for the 48 continental United States only. If you’re located outside that area or want to ship outside the United States, please use the “Get Quote” option or call
800-937-4688 to speak with a sales rep or email InternationalOrders@conres.com.

Please use the Shopping Cart for continental United States only.  Click on the quote button for all other areas. 

Note that we adhere to all U.S. governmental regulations regarding the international shipment of products and do not ship to any prohibited country. Currently we do not ship to Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, North Korea and Syria.

What if I need help deciding on a model?

Our sales staff is ready to assist you in making product selections appropriate for your application. When you call Continental Resources, an operator will ask for your company's name and zip code. This will allow us to route your call to the Account Executive that handles your account, assuring you of knowledgeable and personalized service. Call 800-937-4688.

Is Continental Resources an authorized distributor?

Continental Resources is an authorized distributor for all the new equipment lines we sell, including Tektronix, Keithley, Fluke, Rohde & Schwarz, Instek and Octoscope.

What is the availability of new equipment?

We have most popular items in stock and available for immediate shipment.

What is the availability of used test equipment?

Most used test equipment ships within 1-5 business days from when the order is taken. Some items on this site are one-of-a-kind or are in short supply so we cannot guarantee availability. We also offer many other models currently not listed on this website. Please ask your account Account Executive at 800-937-4688 for quotes and lead-times on the specific item you're interested in.

What kind of warranty will I receive?

Continental Resources's pre-owned/refurbished/reconditioned test equipment is warranted for a period of 90 days unless otherwise stated. Extended warranties may be purchased for most reconditioned equipment. Purchases of reconditioned test equipment are warranted to be in good working order for the period covered. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of parts or equipment in the determination of Continental Resources.

Purchases of new equipment are covered exclusively by the manufacturer's warranty and, in many cases, extended warranty coverage is available from ConRes. For example, please review our Bench Backup Plan. Contact 781-533-0213 for details.

Can I rely on used test equipment?

Continental Resources sells the highest grade of expertly reconditioned used test equipment. Technicians thoroughly repair, test and calibrate every instrument. Each instrument is calibrated to the original manufacturer's specifications and is NIST traceable. We rigorously adhere to ISO 9001:2008 quality standards and follow the guidelines of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1. All used test equipment is warranted for a full 90 days.

How is my order shipped?

Continental Resources uses a variety of shipping methods, including overnight service. All fragile and high value products are packed using foam-in-place equipment, eliminating the possibility of shipping damage. Continental Resources ships free freight FedEx Express Saver, faster service available on your shipping account number.

What if I need to return equipment?

To ensure prompt handling, all returns require a Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number. Please call our Customer Service department at 800-775-4877 (option 1) to request an RMA number. Please mark the RMA number on the packing label, not the box, so that we can properly note the return in your account. Some restrictions apply.

New equipment returned for credit must be in factory-sealed condition, with all original packing material and accessories. All warranty returns must be sent directly to the manufacturer.

Any equipment that is returned to Continental Resources in damaged condition is the responsibility of the customer.  Missing accessories will also be invoiced accordingly. 

How will I be billed for rental equipment?

Your monthly rental amount will be billed in advance each month. There is a one-month minimum rental period for all equipment except field test power quality analyzers. When you are done renting the equipment, follow the directions under “What if I need to return equipment?” in the preceding paragraph or contact us for a buyout price as specified in the following paragraph.

Do you offer training?

ConRes can arrange onsite training for you on many of the items that we sell through our distribution network.  Simply call 800-937-4688 to speak with a sales rep.
